We are a family run campground. We know how important family is and we want to welcome you & your family to our home. We took over this campground in the middle of 2004 and since then we have made a lot of wonderful improvements with many more to come. We have renovated our swimming pool. We have built on a recreation room with a pool table, video games, pinball machine, board games & tv for the kids.

We have also upgraded our sites. We have 40 RV sites which include all pull thru's, with water, sewer, electric & cable. 30 of them are 50/30 amp, 25 are paved, some are shaded, some are not, depending on what you like. Our longest pull thru's are 120 feet so we can accomodate any type of vehicle.

All of our 12 tent sites have water & 20 amp electric and are close to the bathrooms.

We welcome pets here: as long as you keep them on a leash and pick up after them.

WE ARE OPEN ALL YEAR

You’ll hum “Way down upon the Suwannee River” in a classic Florida setting - alongside the Osceola National Forest and a stone’s throw from the well-known river. The songwriter is honored at the nearby Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center. For a relaxing float, toss an inner tube in the Suwannee or head 20 miles to Ichetucknee Springs State Park, another popular tubing spot. You can fish and swim in many area lakes and rivers too.

Bird-watchers will be content right here at Lake City Campground because mockingbirds, whippoorwills, owls and other warblers also appreciate the campground’s setting amid pine forest, wildflowers, fishing ponds and flowing streams.

For those of you who want to shop instead of seeing nature, we are only 4 miles from the center of town where you can visit many local antique shops, visit the mall, go to the movie theater, bowling, skating and go to several restaurants. We have a little bit of something for everyone in the family. If you want to stay in for the night, we have 74 channel cable tv and we also rent movies at the office. We also now offer WIFI if you want to use your computer. We have a dump station, propane sales, clean bathrooms, a beautiful new laundry room, fishing, pool, playground, rec room and plenty of extra things to keep you occupied.
